Women’s Personal Training

Are you balancing a busy job and running around after the kids? Or maybe you find yourself with very young children and hard to get out the house. Whatever the reason, you may feel like you have no time for yourself and ultimately exercise.

Men and women are pretty much biologically identical (apart from the obvious). However, with our vast experience with training the different sexes, men and women usually have different goals when it comes to weight loss and toning.

Most women for example have toned legs, bum and tummy as there major areas to work on. As a woman its very doubtful you see having bigger shoulders and biceps as you main priority – unlike men!

Therefore, at Adam Cochrane Fitness I am different to most personal trainers in that I have separate programs for women and men. Yes for both sexes I will use anaerobic interval training to burn off excess fat and make you fitter, but the toning exercises in general will look at those areas you as a woman really want to change.

Ok that’s the toning sorted, but what is anaerobic interval training?

Anaerobic interval training makes your body burn off it’s stored fat for hours after the actual session. This type of training has been scientifically proven to be the most efficient way to lose fat.

The great news is we have lots of different ways of interval training you. Running, Boxing, Exercise Bike and Cross Trainer to name a few methods!

Therefore it does not matter if, for example, you do not like running - I can use other methods like the very popular boxing fitness to get the right results for you!

By hiring me as your personal trainer it means it’s MY responsibility to get the right levels from you to ensure you hit your goals. I have NEVER failed yet to get the correct levels from a client to ensure they reach their goals.

We provide easy to follow nutritional plans for you. This will maximize your training and ensure you achieve your goals fast and safely.

The plan is all based around keeping your blood sugar levels stable. This means your body is more set up to burn off calories and also much less likely to crave High calorie snack foods!

Your program will be structured so you understand exactly what we are doing and just as important why we are doing it. Every month you will be assessed and your program will be adjusted so as you continue to develop and reach your goals

EQUIPMENT

Body Fat Analyzer – Non invasive and takes 1 minute
Blood pressure – Electronic and will show you not only your blood pressure but resting heart rate as well.
Lung Function – This will assess the efficiency of your lungs and is very usfull to demonstrate how your lungs improve with fitness in time.
Fitness equipment – Boxercise, Rebounder and a specialized portable weight set and of course my self if your into running!
A good trainer does not need fancy gym equipment to get results from their client. Keeping it simple works and we only need a five foot square space to train you.

We understand everyone has a busy lifestyle now days. We will train you at a time and place that suits you.
If you need to train at a certain time each week we can accommodate that or if your life is planned week by week we will ensure you can book sessions to work around your schedule.
